    Non-returnable packages for liquid contents, e.g. milk, are made frequently from a flexible packing laminate, and are provided with an opening arrangement in the form of a tear-off strip which covers a pouring opening in the packing container wall. So as to avoid spatter and spillage at the actual moment of opening an opening arrangement for packing containers is realized comprising a pouring opening (8) which has a projection (8') of small area directed against the direction of tearing of the tearing strip (6). This part of the pouring opening (8) formed as a projection (8') thus will be opened first, and airwill flow into the packing container, and the liquid level will drop so that the continued opening can be performed without any risk of spillage. By varying the sealing strength between the tearing strip and the packing laminate an automatic delay of the removal of the tearing strip after the opening of the projecting part can be achieved, which further improves the functioning of the opening arrangement.

    The invention relates to the R of the ary region and can be used in containers with casting holes covered with a strip.
    The purpose of the invention is to improve the usability.

    The packaging container has the shape of a parallelepiped, made of a layered material containing a layer of 15 fibrous material, such as paper, coated on both sides with layers of thermoplastic material, such as polyethylene,
    In the upper part of the container, there is made a jO non-pouring hole 1, closed by a stripe 2 covering it with a gap, fixed on the container and having a free edge 3.
    Adjacent to the pouring opening I 25 from the side of the free edge 3 of the tearing strip 2, an additional opening 4 is made, communicated with the filling opening, and the area of the additional opening 4 is less than one tenth of the filling opening 1.
    In the preferred embodiment, the pouring aperture has an oblong shape, and its edges 5, adjacent to the additional aperture 4, are arranged perpendicular to the longitudinal axis 6 of the pouring aperture.
    The packaging container is used as follows. In order to open the container, the free edge 3 is covered by the covering strip 2 and lifts it. When the strip 2 is thrown off, the inner liquid-tight layer of the container opens in the area of the pouring opening, starting from the additional opening.
    Since the area of the additional hole 4 is very small, only a small force is required to break the tightness of the joint. As soon as the internal thermoplastic

    the sealing layer is broken, air enters into the interior of the packaging container, the level of the liquid in the previously completely filled package falls simultaneously with a slight curvature of the side walls of the packaging container.
    The content level now ends at a distance of 10–20 mm below the top of the packaging container and, with a further extension of the covering strip 2, simultaneously with the rupture of the inner layer, there is no danger of splashing through the pouring opening I. In a preferred embodiment, the edges 5 of the pouring opening are perpendicular to the direction separation of strip 2. This means that the inner thermoplastic layer must break along a line of considerable extent, which causes -. There is much greater resistance than if the inner layer is broken in the area of the additional opening 4. This ensures that the level of the contents in the packaging container is stabilized before the entire tear-off strip is completely removed from the pouring hole.
